HOUSE SYSTEM & CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

Students are allotted to four houses: Roses, Lily, Daffodils and Blue Bells for providing good training in citizenship, team spirit and for better participation and healthy competitions. All competitions cultural, sports and academics are held on an inter-house basis, giving the children ample opportunities to discover the God given talents in them. Co-curricular activities such as Recitation, Quiz, Dramatics, Elocution, Painting, Observation Tests, Extempore, Mono-acting, Essay Writing, Poetry Composing, Clay modelling, Crafts etc. are designed to stimulate the interest of the students in hobbies and provide opportunities for creativity, originality and self-expressions thereby ensuring the formation of balanced and integrated personality. Competitions are held twice a month. Music classes are conducted regularly to promote vocal and instrumental music. Students are coached to participate in inter school drawing competitions, talent search Examinations every year.


GAMES AND SPORTS

Physical Education is compulsory for all students. Every morning they undergo physical training before they start the day. Their physical skills are developed as they play games like Volley Ball, Cricket, Badminton, Table Tennis, Hockey and Foot Ball in the evenings. Boys are provided chance to play inter-school matches thereby providing a healthy and friendly competitive spirit.Inter-house matches are conducted regularly and finally the House which has the highest score in Extra-curricular, Co-curricular and Academics is presented the Cock House Shield.Children also paticipate in Zonal, District and division level sports and bring laurels to the School.


BERNICE : A BI-MONTHLY

The School publishes a bi-monthly named BERNICE which means 'Bringer of Victory' for which articles are expected from students. The teacher in-charge collects the articles and the selected articles along with best performance get published in Bernice. The best articles are selected for school magazine.


MARSHAL ART & CIVIC ACTIVITIES

The School offers training in Karate for interested students in both mornings and evenings to teach them the art of weaponless combat. Band taining is also given to the intrested children. Pupils are encouraged to take part in all extra curricular activities of the school as part of their civic training. Scouts, Guides & Junior Red Cross trainings give the children implicit obedience, positive attitude, sound body and mind. Apart from these students paticipate in in the club activites.The English Literary Club, Temprance Club, Eco Club, Intract Club(Rotary), Journalism Club, Fine Arts Club and Sports Club help the children to improve in various dimensions of knowledge.
